Wiglaf and Beowulf both shared a set of honorable heroic values. Bravery was Beowulf and Wiglaf's most similar value. Both of the two men decided they would fight the dragon together. Wiglaf's bravery led him to help Beowulf in a time of need and help to others. Wiglaf saw that Beowulf needed someone's help to fight this dragon so Wiglaf was brave enough to stand up for his people and help Beowulf. Another heroic value they both have in common is courage. Even though they are both getting into danger, they are willing to die in attempt to defeat the dragon or monsters they are against. Also, they have the courage to do whatever they have to, to save their lord. Both of the men are strong and fearless leaders. They also share a common act before they go out and fight, giving a speech. Both of the men have given speeches before they have gone out and fought. Showing and letting their people know that they are leaders and that they are willing to sacrifice their lives for saving them. I believe that Wiglaf has a little more guidance from his people than Beowulf has. Wiglaf listens to his people and does what he is told rather than doing what he wants.
